During the action days last weekend up to 1600 people populated the campsite. Far more than 50 workshops took place, in which people built wind turbines, discussed capitalism or planned the next set of creative actions in Paris. Our infrastructure was pushed to its limits, but we mastered all challenges together. We’ve had guests from all over the world, from Canada, the US and Ecuador to Jordania and India. About 50 nationalities were represented at the camp and could report on their own local climate actions. The climate camp 2015 has been a strong sign of the global climate movement being in the offensive against fossil fuels. The deconstruction of the camp is nearly finished, and all of us will need to relax a little after giving our everything over the last weeks.
There is no final projection of the finances yet, but the kitchens’ last calculation showed that they lack a couple thousand euros. If you want to support us, this is the account to donate to:

After summer recess, we hope to see all of you at the action conference in Leipzig from the 7th to 8th of November. There we’ll plan how to continue both next year and in Paris in December.
